Students took turns reading the Greek, parsing verbs, and translating John 11:1-19, indicating the usage of datives in the text. Due to a time constraint tonight and a desire of some to finish the rest of the chapter, we decided to postpone our review of the rest of John 11 for two weeks.
At our next Zoom session at 6:30 PM on Friday, February 7, Monday, February 24, we will cover parts 2 and 3 of John 11. The handouts can be downloaded from the column on the right. We will also analyze the following:
- the usage for each of the prepositions in John 11, Part 2
- the usage for each of the articles in John 11, Part 3 (see the handout “Regular Uses of the Article”)
